Moravian University
3D Printing Team
Welcome to the official site for the Moravian College 3D Printing Group!
We are a team of students who, since 2016, are all passionate about 3D design, printing, and making cool things!
We also offer 3D print model design services. See the projects we have done in the past and contact us with your project idea!
We also host educational events focused on design and printing, targeting many different populations: artists, scientists, technology enthusiasts, and kids.
Want to get involved or learn more?
You can email the team at 3d@moravian.edu or the club at 3dclub@moravian.edu. Also, a half-unit course “CSCI 107.2 3D Printing and Design” is offered to all students every year.
We currently have:
2x Ultimaker 3 Extended printers
Each printer has the ability for dual extrusion meaning that we can print free-floating designs as well as models with 2 different colors12x Creality Ender 3 printers
Our standard workhouse printers: reliable, tough, and productive - several have been modified for specific purposes, including printing in wax or even chocolate!Epsilon W50 printer
Very large build volume with dual extrusion and built-in air handling allowing us to print large, complex models in diverse materialsPhrozen Sonic Mini 8K S Resin printer
Extremely high-resolution printing for figures or other objects that need great detailSeveral 3D printing pens for creative design exploration for kids
We have dozens of different colors in a variety of standard materials such as PLA, PETG, ABS, and TPU. We have experimented with numerous different special materials such as bronze, wood, electrically conductive, wax, sandstone, and even chocolate.
In our workspace we have all the tools needed to design, create, and perfect your model, including 3D scanners to scan pre-existing objects.
